With the logo “विद्यामृतमश्नुते” (‘Learning entitles to immortality’), Chirawa College offers significant services to the society not only in the academic field but also for promoting social and cultural awareness among people. The institution is proud of its illustrious alumni holding prominent positions in the society. The College has proven record of its contribution to society through NCC, NSS and Scouting activities. Students are educated in civic responsibilities through several activities like Blood donation, AIDS awareness programme, Pulse Polio campaigns, literacy mission, planting of trees, adopting of nearby villages to render possible assistance to the villagers in different ways for overall development. ‘Each one – Teach one’, ‘Earn while you Learn’, environmental awareness, human rights etc. Whenever there is a major problem in the country, there [su_frame][/su_frame]is active participation of our Scouts, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, students and staff to meet and solve it. Contributions made to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund after the Kargil war and earthquakes of Gujrat, Maharashtra and Uttarkanshi speak well the national commitment of the institution. Some of our old students and NCC cadets sacrificed their lives during Kargil war and J&K militant’s attacks to serve the nation. The College has pride on those National Heroes.
Our Institution, the oldest one in the area has educated five generations of local people, it had one and is still doing great service to the nation by producing responsible, dutiful and patriotic citizens.
